Privacy policy
Let's Skate Foundation ("LSF," "we," "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. EIN 99-4111339. This policy explains what we collect on letsskate.org, how we use it, and how to reach us about your data.
What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to run the foundation, and nothing more.
- Contact form submissions. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and your message. These are forwarded to admin@letsskate.org.
- Donations. When you donate, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We never see or store your card number. We retain donor records (name, email, mailing address, donation amount, and date) to issue IRS-required acknowledgment letters and for our own bookkeeping.
- Basic analytics. We may use privacy-friendly analytics that count visits without tracking individuals or using cookies for advertising.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
- We don't use advertising trackers or third-party advertising cookies.
- We don't build profiles of individual visitors.
Registration on Elmbrook Speedskating
Skating registration is handled by our partner platform at elmbrookspeedskating.org. That site has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing it before registering.
Donor records
We retain donor records for at least seven years to comply with IRS recordkeeping requirements. You can request a copy of your donation history or ask us to delete non-required data at any time by emailing admin@letsskate.org.
Children's data
letsskate.org is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information about youth participants in our programs is collected only through the registration platform with parental consent, and is governed by that platform's privacy policy.
